My role in the Toulon team (from Sep 2005 to March 2006) was goalkeeper, it is an important position in the water polo gameplay, and this for two main reason;
- In placed defense, he is the last protection. Alone against his adversary, he will have few chance to succeed.
- In attack (and especially in counter-attack), he has to throw out a precise ball to the wingers. “A bad throw out, it is a goal” Pascal GRARE (Toulon team trainer).
